I’ve been neglecting this blog, but, no time like the present to kick it back up! I like writing about my characters, and I really want to develop my “presence” online or whatever. For now I kind of see this space as an in-progress show bible.
I’ve been reluctant to post about Theo because, to be honest, I’m still not happy with his wig – it’s still looking more “Soccer Mom” than “disheveled boy” no matter how much product or cellophane wraps I try. I guess shorter styles are hard to replicate at this scale. I’ll keep hunting – I’m also not married to this particular color on him, as in my head his hair is more sandy brown. Anyhow, I digress!
Theo is actually the other main character, the deuteragonist if you will. Not that you’d know that due to my aforementioned failure to post about him. Theo is the “savvy guy” to Lux’s “energetic girl.” He’s calm, and generally sweet natured and levelheaded, with a streak of wisecracking humor, and a dash of ADD. Theo is inventive, curious, and a tinkerer by nature. He isn’t necessarily a traditional Magician like his friends and doesn’t come from a Magical family, but he’s a very gifted mathematician and coder so he’s can write some amazing spells. He enjoys building robots and electronic gadgets in his spare time, and, when not doing that, is often seen plugging away at a computer, phone, gaming device, or musical instrument (he plays 3). Ironically his grades aren’t the best because he’s always getting too distracted to finish his homework, or, you know, go to class, but all of the teachers love him nonetheless.
There’s a rumor that he transferred to Wildershine after some kind of Incident involving a portal to another dimension at his old school, but we don’t have to get into that.
